To prevent this inappropriate development going ahead KWAG believes the following options are available to East Dunbartonshire Council (EDC):
OBTAIN independent expert legal and planning opinion on the terms of the Reporter's Appeal Notice of Intention to determine all possible challenges to and grounds of appeal against her findings.
DO NOT sell/exchange or otherwise dispose of any land, buildings, or other assets owned or in the control of the Council on the Kilmardinny Westpark site.
DO NOT allow ground and property such as Canniesburn Toll, Antonine
Garden, Boclair House, Grange Road and Roman Road Registry Office to be altered in a manner detrimental to the amenity of the area nor sell/exchange or otherwise dispose of these assets.
DO NOT close, sell or in any way remove Allander Leisure Centre or any part of it from public use except for refurbishment or improvement of the
existing facility.
DO NOT allow any development of this site other than in accordance with the current adopted local plan.
